The Story behind the Artwork
I often see Kereru’s soar over our house with wings expanded like an old DC3 plane along with the deep whistle sound that followed. This inspired me to paint this piece.

The Kereru is dressed as an Airforce pilot with old NZ Airforce rondel on the wings with numbering: NZ2504 – Anzac Day 2024.
